KATHERINE YUNG, FREE PRESS BUSINESS WRITER Delta Air Lines plans to add new nonstop service from Detroit Metro Airport to Hong Kong and Seoul, South Korea, making good on its promise to transform its second-largest hub into a gateway to Asia. Starting in June, Delta will offer five nonstop flights a week to both Hong Kong and Seoul. In addition, the airline, which merged with Northwest Airlines a year ago, will begin offering daily nonstop flights to Shanghai, China, up from five flights a week. |
