Hologic Inc. is expanding its global reach with a new regional headquarters for the Asian market in Hong Kong's Science Park. The Bedford, Mass.-based imaging and diagnostics maker for women said the new Asia Pacific regional office will coordinate all sales, R&D, product support and logistics for its breast health, diagnostics, gynecological and skeletal health segments in the area. Chairman and CEO Jack Cumming added that the company will also soon be opening up similar centers in South America and India as it looks to expand its global footprint. Hologic, which employs about 3,500 people around the world, is expected to announce its third-quarter sales and earnings results Nov. 9.
