A giant replica of Noah's Ark opened to the public on Monday in Hong Kong.
The Ark is the world's only full-scale model and was described in the Bible, after the Hong Kong property developer, which will be built.
The Ark was three years to build and is part of a larger theme park project, including the rehabilitation of the local community, the cost is more than 100 (m) million U.S. Dollar, the developer said.
Hong Kong's Noah sits a stone's throw from the sea, under a huge bridge that was built more than ten years ago to connect the new airport area in the city.
The day was damp and rainy accordingly. Visitors looked around and took photos of the models of animals walking two by two from the ark.
Groups of students were entertained with face painting animal in the ark.
The organizers say they hope that the ark will help people know about the animals and the environment. |
