Hong Kong buyer injured in the second acid attackThirty people were injured in a Hong Kong busiest shopping districts, where two bottles of acid were hurled a street, a police spokesman said.

The bottles were thrown into a crowd Saturday in the town in the district of Mongkok Sai Yeung Choi Street - the same street where 46 people were injured in a similar attack in December.

The victim - especially young people, who suffered burns on their faces, limbs and shoulders - were hospitalized. All had been released until Sunday, with the exception of 16-year-old girl, a government spokeswoman said.

Police said she was not excluded that the same person or persons, the two attacks.

"We are now investigating the two cases together as the nature of the two attacks is very similar," said the spokesman.

Chief Executive Donald Tsang said after examining the Mongkok Street Sunday with officers that the crime be solved as soon as possible.

"(The attack) is an extremely serious crime. We must catch the culprit as soon as possible," he said.

Tsang said a 100,000 Hong Kong dollars (12,800 U.S.) reward for information in December to the arrest of those involved was $ 300,000.

The police spokesman said the attacks because someone could be with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, with a maximum penalty of life imprisonment
