) From Choi Hung MTR Station Exit C take KMB bus No.92 or green mini-bus No.1A
to Sai Kung town centre and then from Sai Kung take green mini-bus No.7 to Hoi Ha
alighting at the hostel shortly before the turn off to Pak Sha O Village.
2) From Choi Hung MTR Station Exit C take KMB bus No.92 or green mini-bus No.1A to
Sai Kung town centre and then from Sai Kung take KMB bus No.94 to Wong Shek pier
alighting at Ko Tong Village (Sundays and public holidays only). Proceed about 100 meters
along Pak Tam Road, then turn into Hoi Hai Road and take the No.7 green mini bus from
Sai Kung town centre to Hoi Ha alighting at the hostel shortly before the turn off to
Pak Sha O Village.
3) From Diamond Hill MTR Station take KMB bus No. 96R to
Wong Shek pier alighting at Ko Tong Village (Sundays and
public holidays only). Proceed about 100 meters along Pak
Tam Road, then turn into Hoi Hai Road and take the No.7
green mini bus from Sai Kung town centre to Hoi Ha alighting
at the hostel shortly before the turn off to Pak Sha O Village.
4) From Sai Kung take a green New Territories taxi directly to the hostel.
5) Groups may arrange to block book a private bus to the hostel from urban areas,
please fill in the entry application form, attach it with a copy of booking confirmation
and fax to our YHA office at least 14 days in advance.

1) Visit the Hoi Ha Marine Park , Hong Kong"s first. A wide variety of coral and marine life
flourish in the quiet, sheltered waters of Hoi Ha bay and may be viewed from the shoreline or
by means of a sampan hired from the nearby village.
2) Test your map reading skills over the Wan Chai Orienteering Trim Course.
3) Swim from the beach at Hoi Ha Wan. Although this is not a gazetted
beach and thus has no lifeguards on duty, water conditions are generally
safe and the water refreshingly cool in the summer months.
4) Undertake the To Kwa Ping Wetland Ecotour or the Kei Ling Ha
Wetland Ecotour to obtain an understanding of the many fascinating
marine cretures that make their homes in these specialized wetland habitats.
5) Take part in a free ecological exploration of the Hoi Ha Marine Park (Chinese Language only)
mangroves organized by the Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department from 10:30
hours to 12:00 hours and from 14:15 hours to 15:45 hours (Map download: size2.37MB,
size:205KB).
6) Walk the Wan Chai Nature Trail.
7) Hike the many trails in the Pak Sha O area of Sai Kung including Stage 3 of the 100km
trans-New Territories Maclehose Trail.
8) Explore the nearby picturesque former farming village of Pak Sha O
where many traditionally constructed houses have been fully restored
and converted into comfortable modern accommodation for those wishing
to live a more rural lifestyle.
9) Enjoy a barbeque either in the hostel grounds or at the many nearby
public barbeque areas. Fresh seafood and other necessities may be
purchased in Sai Kung.
