Diageo, a UK-based alcoholic drinks group, has teamed up with Shui Jing Fang, a Chinese manufacturer white spirit, for the production of premium vodka called White Shanghai in Hong Kong, revealed Reuters. After the news, the company has no information on the venture with Shui Jing Fang. Reuters quoted Kenneth Macpherson, managing director of Diageo Greater China, with the words: "Shanghai White's roots are firmly in Asia, a tribute to the vast and centuries-old distilling heritage found in this region."
