Situated on the upper slopes of Mount Davis,
this is the only hostel on Hong Kong Island.
It offers superb views of Victoria Harbour and is 5km from Ocean Park. There is a capacity for 163 guests and facilities include air-conditioning, BBQ, TV, laundry and self-catering kitchen.Effective from 1 April 2007, room rates for overnight at this hostel will be adjusted. A two-tier room rates for peak and non-peak periods will also be introduced.

Prepare your own meal in the hostel kitchen or in the barbeque site.
Food may be purchased in any of the urban areas.
1) Enjoy the panoramic views of Victoria Harbour from the hostel grounds. During the day
views of Hong Kong"s highest peak, Tai Mo Shan, and much of the central New Territories
are clearly visible and after dark the multi-coloured lights of the city and of the distant
Tsing Ma Bridge are truly spectacular.

2) Visit the historic remains of the Mount Davis Battery, site
of one of the principal defensive positions on Hong Kong Island
during the Second World War.
3) Take a bus from Victoria Road to Aberdeen and view the
workings of one of Hong Kong"s busiest and most scenic fishing
ports. Visitors may take a ferry or kai do to scenic Lamma Island from Aberdeen.
4) From Aberdeen visit Ocean Park, Hong Kong"s original theme park and a popular attraction
for locals and foreigners alike. Apart fromthe thrills and spills of the many rides, Ocean Park
has a spectacular aquarium and daily aquatic shows. Enjoy excellent views across to Deep Water
Bay and Middle Island.
5) From Aberdeen visit the beaches at Deep Water Bay or Repulse Bay for a refreshing swim.

6) Enjoy a barbeque in the hostel grounds. Food may be purchased in
Kennedy Town or elsewhere in the urban area.
7) Improve your language skills and your knowledge of other cultures
through conversation with hostellers from all over the world at YHA"s

1) On the ground floor of Shun Tak Centre opposite to the 7-11 Convenient Store (Macau Ferry Terminus, MTR Exit D, Sheung Wan) take the dedicated shuttle bus service to the hostel.

# The free bus service is on a first come first serve basic. Once the 24-seat van is filled
up, please wait for the next scheduled bus.
2) From Admiralty take City Bus No.5 or from the Outlying Island Ferry Terminal in Central
take mini-bus No.54, alighting near the junction of Victoria Road and Mt. Davis Road. Walk
back 100 metres from the bus stop and walk uphill along Mt.Davis Path (not Mt. Davis Road)
for approximately 35 minutes to the hostel.
3) From anywhere in the urban area take a red taxi direct to the hostel.
