Aecom Technology Corp., a provider of technical and management services, on Wednesday said it received a contract worth approximately $ 80 million to design and construction management services for a large highway construction projects in Hong Kong.

The agreement is a supplement to an existing contract worth an estimated U.S. $ 30 million with Hong Kong Transport Department. The new project includes a long road and an additional deep tunnel, Aecom said.

The modified Central-Wan Chai Bypass Eastern Corridor Link and Iceland plan is a direct east-west highway route for traffic between Hong Kong's Central Business District and the eastern part of the island.

When completed, traffic on existing roads around the island with the northern shore on a 2.3-mile tunnel. The project, which cost a total of around 3 billion U.S. dollars, is planned for completion in 2016.
