Australia will receive 25 million dollars from a Hong Kong-based shipping company in compensation for a massive oil spill. The Pacific Adventurer released about 200,000 litres of heavy fuel oil off the coast of Queensland on March 11th during a fierce storm. The oil that leaked from the hull was one of Australia's worst-ever oil spills. The compensation will be paid by the Swire Group, the owner of the ship.
